Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable Matt is a premium quality emulsion formulated for interior use on walls and ceilings. In addition it can be used on suitably primed woodwork and radiators with an undercoat.

This low odour paint is washable and wipeable, providing a tough finish that is resistant to condensation, yellowing and most household stains. Its outstanding durability makes it ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, hotels, hospitals and public buildings.

Important information

Please note this product is not suitable for areas subject to high moisture, for example a poorly ventilated bathroom. Instead we would recommend Zinsser perma-white colour match.
Scrubbable paint finishes take around 1 week to fully cure and therefore scrubbing should be avoided for the first week. We also recommend using a soft material to wipe down the walls to avoid burnishing the surface.
This product should be used as both the mist coat and the top coat. Basic Matt paints should not be used as a mist coat with any scrubbable paint type.
Due to differences in computer monitors and colour swatches actual colours may have slight variance when mixed into paint. Colour Match products cannot be refunded or returned once mixed unless there is a product fault. If you are unsure about a colour, we provide an excellent tester pot service so you can test colours in situ before ordering in larger volumes. It is your own responsibility to ensure you have picked the correct colour.
Numbered Dulux shades are copyrighted and therefore we are unable to match them.
We cannot match to Pantone or HEX colours or some big brands like Sherwin Williams, Frenchic, Behr, Bauwerk, Rust-Oleum, numbered Dulux, Fenwick & Tilbrook or Cuprinol. Please contact us if you're unsure if we can match your chosen colour.
In some circumstances there may be other colour / finish combinations that cannot be mixed, these are rare and we will contact you promptly to advise if there is a limitation preventing the colour / finish combination. In most cases we can provide a closest match which is within 10% variance to the original colour selected, or suggest an alternative suitable finish. We will only ever do this with your prior agreement.
